Dr Lesley Haines
I qualified as a doctor in 1984, became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1989 and have been awarded Masters Degrees in Psychological Medicine and Medical Ethics & Law. I have been a psychiatrist since 1987, a Consultant Psychiatrist since 1995 and have extensive experience as a General Adult Psychiatrist, treating hospital and community patients, including those detained under the Mental Health Act. I left full-time NHS practice in January 2009, but continue active clinical work.
I prepare detailed medico-legal reports for solicitors concerned with clinical negligence and personal injury. Interviews take place at Emotions or, are at the request of solicitors, at clients homes.
